Age and DOB: Unknown, 28-32

Physical Description: Arrietty is a Punk. Though recently she's removed the colouration from her hair and let it return to its supernatural black colour. One side of it remains shaved. Arrietty often got an extra long trenchcoat as old as she is, helping to keep her warm against the cold damp. Beneath it she wears a vest and whatever t-shirt happens to fit that was raided from a thrift shop. Piercings dot her face. As an unfortunate cosmetic side effect, Arrietty's irises have turned a black colour, and so too have her veins, contrasting the also genetically inherited porcelain skin tone.

History: Arrietty was born to Germans who had migrated to New York due to her incubator finding better employment in her field with an American company. Probably the MRD Arrietty was born a couple of years later when they were stable and confident enough in their home. Her powers were present from birth, but she wasn't so obviously a Mutant at first unless you were specifically looking. She didn't receive a proper education, most of it has been a case of 'How do I use my powers to get what I need to survive?'

By the time she was six years old, her parents had grown to loathe her. They moved from their apartment in the night, and simply left Arrietty behind to fend for herself. She was soon found by the homeless community, who took as gentle a care of her as they could until she was roped into the Morlocks and effectively raised by them. Most of the Morlock leadership are people she grew up alongside, and she was able to cement her place as head of the Vatican through her ability to be diplomatic and ruthless as the situation needed. While she may not like all the Morlock leaders, she's become an important figurehead in her own right due to her responsibilities.

Arrietty doesn't know her own age anymore. But she does know her daughter, Petra, was born 15 years ago. She's gone out of her way to ensure Petra can receive as fine an education as she can, which is made difficult by not having an address, and the general lacking love of Mutants present in the world. Whilst unplanned, she's given Arrietty a drive to survive and see Mutants thrive.

Growing up amongst the Morlocks and other outcasts, she's come to bear resentment at the larger world, and really focused her talents on helping the Morlocks. Launching raids for food, and other supplies with regularity.

Being the woman responsible for The Vatican, she's known in some circles as 'The Deacon', because 'The Pope' just didn't seem to fit her.

In the past year, she's come to connect with The Institute and several of its inhabitants, including Wanda, Wade and Mickey.

Mutation: Darkforce Wormhole. Initally Arrietty could only open Portals to and from a location ia the Darkforce, a poorly understood dimension that remains home to an unnatural darkness. At rest, Arrietty can form these portals up to a Kilometer away from her location. However these can be pushed further, but it takes an additional six seconds to cast per Kilometer. Regardless of range, they will remain open for a maximum of 30 seconds, unless she closes them early. If anyone is moving through them when she closes the Portal, they are trapped within the Darkforce.

Energy 5, Control 5, Potency 5

1st Upgrade: Arrietty is now capable of forming cmplicated constructs by drawing on her connection to the Darkforce. These are based around the ability to be highly mobile and highly defensive. These constructs are often organic in shape and structure, and are capable of tanking incredible blows and sustained heavy arms fire. These constructs don't require concentration, unless Arrietty is reinforcing them. This allows her to set it and forget it.

Arrietty's connection to the Darkforce has also allowed Arrietty to move at a speed a little above peak Human. Whilst this doesn't allow her to race against Pietro, it does enable her to react faster and handle other superhuman foes. If she takes a blow, she has the armour to back her up, but the aim is to not get hit to begin with.

Arrietty has, naturally, found a newfound love for Sewer Hockey, complete with Darkforce branded serrated Hockey Sticks and Rollerblades. This hypermobility makes her a deadly threat in many environments, and allows to be more flexible in more strenuous places.

Energy 5, Control 5

Skills: Arrietty has largely accrued Urban survival skills over her troubled life, which have lead to greater understanding of how NYC ticks, and how to find certain objects or supplies. She's also handy with a knife, though she's always been more likely to retreat from a fight than engage in one.

Arrietty was raiding the Institute. This shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone who knew her, in honesty. With it having been rebuilt, there were leftover supplies and materials. There were also foods. She scowled at the realisation Noel and his Ice Cream were elsewhere, and started rooting around the various cupboards with a Trolley.
