*After his first week or so at the institute, former mental patient Lucas Trest finds himself wondering more and more about how much the world has changed during his 3 year stint in the nuthouse. His curiosity gets the better of him, and he leaves the institute to go see what has become of the world. He drifts around on greyhound buses, sleeping wherever he can find space and doing odd jobs for people for money. When he finds time he works on learning to better use his telekinetic abilities, and his headaches become slightly less intense. He went across the country, back to his homeland of Philadelphia, and to wherever interested him really. After a run in with the authorities in an abandoned building he was staying in however, he was shaken and has returned to the institute.

When he returns to the institute, after getting everything sorted out, Lucas sits in the lounge on a beanbag, with a deck of cards in front of him shuffling itself. His red hair is longer now and he has some dark circles under his eyes from his long night of wandering in the desert until he remembered where the cavern was. He looks kinda mellow as he mind shuffles the cards.
