Hello all,

recently a friend of mine told me about Xmage. I decided i wanted to try it out and download it. I read all up on the instillation process and having to have java. My laptop is around 4 years old. It does have windows 8. this morning I updated Java to the newest version. I successfully downloaded the file and it opened normally giving me the "this is your first time opening Xmage we have to download our own copy of java". It started to download but after the progress bar finished I still couldn't click on the start client or start client and server buttons. I uninstalled and reinstalled and still couldn't get it to work. Any suggestions, is it Xmage or my laptop? Also I never got any error messages.

Also if it helps I believe this is my laptop. It's been like 4 years since I bought it, but i am pretty sure this is it.
