NO SPOILERS PLEASE! I am on season 9 episode 1 on my first real watching of this show, also have not seen any of the movies, I'm saving those for after the series.

I was a nervous wreck waiting for the departure of Agent Mulder at the end of season 7. I did not think that I was going to like whoever filled in by any means.

I actually ended up really liking Agent Doggett, but it seems like everyone just keeps betraying him every step of the way and around every corner. He doesn't get the respect he deserves from his coworkers, and isn't really appreciated for anything. I get so frustrated watching Scully shit on his chest time after time again.

Does anyone else like Agent Doggett as much as I do and feels the same way?

I heard he didn't make it into the later movies as well, like.... what???
