Goodness now I’m on “All Things”….I may just skim through it….its not good at all.

Gillian Anderson seemed to want to write and do something different under the guise of the X Files, but what we get is a spiritual story without any soul.

The opening teases a physical relationship between our two characters, has the opening credits and then a whole 63 hours earlier….its an episode that teases a direction we’re going and does a complete u-turn. The only thing that tethers the opening is discussion on past choices and future choices in a story that doesn’t compliment Scully at all.

I know people nowadays criticize Scully’s “virgin like innocence” because women’s empowerment apparently looks like sexual liberation. SMH

It just doesn’t work. It never has for me. Sorry Gillian. I think Duchovny got the X Files at least from a writer/director point of view.
