I am currently watching “Millennium” along side The X Files. I have been doing so since since September of 2023. “Millennium” as a series is a first time watch for me. I’m intrigued by it, but it’s clear the writers never knew what they wanted it to be. It’s like a regular crime procedural with a really compelling character that features occasional supernatural elements. In the first season it’s a very straight forward procedural. The second season leans into the supernatural and religious apocalyptic conspiracies (the second season I’m enjoying more). And I’m reading the third season changes course again…..

From what I’ve seen so far it’s a show that had potential for greatness and even became a somewhat sister series to “The X Files”. But it never knew what it was. I plan on seeing this series through.

Anyone else watch this series? What are your thoughts?
