Squeeze.
Post Body

The very first monster of the week episode and boy does it set the bar high. Squeeze gives us a break from the mythology, but adds some good character-building and one hell of a creepy villain with Tooms.

For the first time, Scully's devotion to Mulder and his quest is tested, and despite her frustration with him at times, in the end she sticks by him. This goes a long way for her character, and shows that Scully sees the brilliance in Mulder regardless of his obsession. Also of note, despite almost being one of Tooms's victims, we get to see that Dana Scully can hold her own.

I think this episode shows that even the most unassuming people can be monsters.

Disturbing Moment: Tooms himself is a creepy dude every time he’s onscreen. If you ever wondered what it would be like if Mr. Fantastic went on a liver-eating killing spree, look no further.
