So have any of you (linux users) had the same experience as me of frames just dying the moment a gun is fired. it'll go from 60 to 13 frames because someone fired their gun close to me mind you this happens mostly with enemies not really a lot with teammates. it's really annoying and damn near unplayable at times. I went through 2 "gaming" distros (yes I know their bs) just to see if maybe I was missing a package or configured something wrong. Nope. Running the game through wine is hell. (I use a steam deck and my wine version is wine-ge version 8-26. systems arch cause I don't feel like playing around with hardware compat) I am praying for the day they release a linux launcher.

(edit: Ok so since I see people recommending this I need to address it. DO NOT USE PORTPROTON. I have used this across several installs it never works. Just use heroic or literally anything but portproton and use winetricks/protontricks to install pdh if your not using proton experimental. Also if you are using amd hardware don't use nvapi for one it doesn't work with amd hardware and for 2 drops your fps HARD)
