I think this is bc redgifs creates the low-res version before it creates the hi-res version.
Hint for anyone creating/uploading:
This sounds stupid but it worked when I tested it a couple times. After you upload to redgifs, just wait like 15-20 minutes. Don't even click the link to view it once it's uploaded. After 15-20 minutes, the hi-res one should be ready and will hopefully be the default one 🤞
