My brother-in-law is in the process of building a computer and talked to me about building a case out of wood. I jumped at the opportunity to try this out. I ran into some bumps along the way and at one point discovered my X-carve needs to be re-calibrated, but the final case turned out great. He's also a big Brandon Sanderson fan so I threw in some symbols from a couple of his book series.
This Case is made from half-inch birch plywood with a cherry stain. I used a 60-degree V-bit for the symbols and the front air vents. The window is clear acrylic which I foolishly etched with a straight-bit and it kept clogging up on me.
