On enemy VIP extract missions, is there any reason NOT to kill the VIP? I captured one once, but I never saw any obvious result of doing so other than seeing them handcuffed in the post-mission summary. On another mission, I just killed the guy and there seemed to be no negative consequences whatsoever. Capturing the VIP requires you to dedicate one soldier to the carry duty, which hampers your effectiveness and is a major time sink. So my question is, why would you ever go to that much trouble when it's so much easier to just off the target immediately and get out of Dodge? Unless there's some reward benefit for capturing them alive, I just don't see why you need to bother. And if there is such a reward, the game is not explicit about it.
