AML memory overloading?
Post Body

I took a break from XCom2 for a year or so and Iā€™m just getting back into it. I see they changed the launcher (and everyone complains it ruined everything). I used to play pretty heavily modded (250 ) with no issues, but since the new launcher, I canā€™t get it to launch with ANY mods except ā€œnew promotion screen by defaultā€ (which is outdated I believe?).

Running with task manager, I see at about 13 seconds after launching, memory use goes from about 800 straight to 4500 and immediately goes to ā€œnot respondingā€. I poked around on steam, but there were someā€¦. Hostile discussions happening, so I feel like Iā€™m more likely to find helpful and non-judgemental replies here.

So far, all Iā€™ve done is: -experimented with various mod loads (no success). -Someone suggested deleting the config files so the game would reset them, which Iā€™ve done -Iā€™ve tried to find the debug/crash log to post in the AML GitHub for help, but the only one Iā€™ve found (which might be wrong) seems to be getting choked on pinging between DLC-checks

Iā€™m not sure what else to do besides buy a massive amount of RAM, but Iā€™m not sure that Iā€™m willing to cash in for another stick or two of RAM just for one game.

Does anyone have any helpful tidbits to offer? I have a small amount of computer know-how, but nothing technical.
