People have to understand that every character is viable. Every gacha player is cursed by a meta brainrot, and it's justified, in a lot of them you cannot play with every characters especially to clear hard content, and it's even worse if you are f2p, and sometimes even the differences between top 1 and top 2 chars are as clear as day. There may even be "must pull" or "must have" characters, and I am not even talking about the games with weapon system. And if all of your favorites happen to be "low tier characters", it's just frustrating.

However, here, the meta is not as constraining as for your proper gacha game, some characters will make your life easier ofc, and you'll have to invest more on some others, but if you're good enough, you can do well with everyone. And when you'll reach endgame and have your regular weekly and daily routine, you'll gather a lot more of the ressources needed to do so too, in due course, don't worry (food is very strong too, don't sleep on it).

Heck, you can even clear the max level hardest contents with 4* chars only with 4* weapons and not perfect echos, so totally f2p, some streamers like Rexlent have proven it. He's a beast at pgr and wuwa, but it means that it's still possible. He plans to level up both a whale and a f2p acc, and post showcases of both to prove that everyone can do it at some point (he did it too for pgr). It will require time, farming and practice, but you'll definitely be able to achieve it.

You can actually play with your favorites and do basically everything, so enjoy using any character you like, and do not care too much about their potential placement in any tier list, do not listen to people who tell you to not play x because they "are not meta". And you'll be proud and satisfied to clear content with your favorite characters, whether they are considered "low tier" or not. I do not blame at all people who enjoy playing with top tier only, everyone is free to do what they want, but in any case, you can just enjoy the game the way you want, with any character you want.
