I'm very excited to be relocating to China. I will be working in the Guanggu district at an international kindergarten. I am not sure where I will be living yet but I've been told it will be within walking distance. Does anybody have experience of this area?

If anyone could paint a general picture of Wuhan as well I would be extremely grateful.

I have a few random questions on my mind so if anyone could answer these you'd be a real hero. I think I've had most of my questions answered by my organisation but it would be cool to get an unadulterated answer from someone in Wuhan.

• Is cycling accessible and safe to do in Wuhan?
• Is it safe to walk around at night? I'm a budding photographer so I'd love to be able to walk around the city at night.
• Are there expat communities to join? Like sports groups etc?
