Hi guys! So recently I’ve been reading a lot of dark romance, specifically Harry Potter fanfictions. I’m not super into Roleplay’s based on canon media. But I think the Harry Potter universe is a great starting place for the ideas I have! I’m hoping maybe this sounds interesting to some of you guys as well.

I will start by telling you a bit about me and about my roleplay style. I write multi paragraph responses, typically 3-5 paragraphs is my go to. I write in third person. I love detail and descriptions so dearly. I am very fond of writing sex scenes as long as there is a plot and an attachment made to characters first!

Now let me get into the plot I have planned out first. While this is based on a Harry Potter, our characters will be our own. There will be mentions of the characters in the books or movies, but overall they will not have a part in the story. ————————————

Lacey Ashe was a loyal order member, but before all that, a Hufflepuff. Although her classmates used to joke that she belonged in Gryffindor due to her courage and occasionally snarky attitude. And she was also muggle born, a sin to those who believed in blood superiority.

She didn’t fight much in the war, only when needed. She spent much of her time as a healer, moving from safe house to safe house, seeing only the worst of the war.

The war, which had went on for 4 years in total.

4 years.

All things considered 4 years doesn’t seem very long. Just a small portion of your life. Except they had lost. 4 years may have been an official end to the war, but for many, it was just beginning.

Harry Potter was dead.

The dark haired, bright eyed boy who had hope that good could win out. He is dead. His body hung high in front of Hogwarts as a show that Voldemort cannot be stopped. They had failed.

She watched Harry die. A friend. A classmate. Watched as the death eaters gathered around and cheered. Watched as his friends cried. Next was Ron, his family watching as he was tortured before them. Voldemort let his followers hex him as much as they wanted, until boredom sank in and he was killed. Hermione’s death was particularly difficult. A muggle born just like Lacey. A mud blood. She wasn’t let off easily.

It took days for them to kill her. Opted to torture her with traditional muggle methods to remind her of her place. The only time magic was used, was to heal her wounds and start over. But Hermione was tough, strong willed. She wouldn’t give them the satisfaction of crying or begging. You would have thought they had silenced her if you didn’t know any better. It took 8 days for her to die. 8 days of continuous torture and pain. But Lacey was glad that Hermione didn’t let them take her dignity away.

The golden trio had died. There was no more hope for the already fragile order. Lacey wished the war ended there but it went on for close to a year after. But no one had hope. They fought, but they no longer believed they could win. When their last base was invaded and they were all taken hostage, everyone was tired of fighting. They barely tried to escape. She hoped some did. She couldn’t be sure.

That was the official end of the war. No one was left to fight. And Voldemort had won. And Lacey rotted away in a dungeon. She wasn’t sure where. She wasn’t sure she cared. She couldn’t tell you how long she had been there, or what was going to happen. Would they make a spectacle of her death, like Hermione. Was a mudblood like her even worth the energy?

When light flooded her room and she was dragged out she had accepted her fate. She wouldn’t give them the satisfaction of breaking her, the war had done that years ago. Death was welcome now. Her only regret is that it didn’t take her years ago. She wished she hadn’t had to live through all the suffering she did, only for it to amount to nothing.

When they come to a stop, the young witch squeezed her eyes shut, hoping it would be quick. But nothing came. She was still breathing. And so Lacey opened her eyes to be met with a death eater the same age as her. Not just any death eater, one she had gone to school with. One she had passed in the hallway daily.

“Congratulations on your new pet. The Dark Lord hopes it is a worthy thank you for your hard work and dedication to him throughout the years”

Alright folks! I suppose it’s time to explain a bit more in detail. This roleplay takes place after the second wizarding war, except Voldemort wins. Lacey Ashe was given to your characters family as a sort of slave you could say, as a gift. Any surviving order member had the same luck. The men and women both, given away to the loyal pure blood families still around.

I’m very open to where the plot goes from here and would love to discuss those things and work them out together. So I’ll just discuss the few things that I care about in this plot.

I would like your character to be dark and twisty and maybe a bit toxic. Or.. maybe a lot of toxic. (I live for the toxic dark kind of romance. Where they kind of mutually hate each other but still end up falling in love anyway} Someone who did horrible acts for the war and doesn’t view themselves as redeemable. Preferably someone high up in the rankings of Voldemort’s army, someone trusted. But I don’t want him to be cruel. I would like him to be indifferent to Lacey being there, not particularly nice but I don’t want him to hurt her. Kind of as though she is a burden to him, that he only accepted as to not insult Voldemort, but is moreso now just inconveniencing his life.

Ideally as well, the things he did and the side he picked in the war, I would like to be justifiable. Like he fought for his families safety, not because he enjoyed killing or necessarily even agreed with Voldemorts views. This plot and him in particular are heavily based on Draco. So I would like those aspects to be worked in.

As for anything else it can be discussed together! I think I’ve said enough, this is becoming quite long. But if you read this far please reply with your favorite Harry Potter character! Any response that doesn’t will be ignored. Also, reply with your thoughts and feelings on the plot, maybe even a character idea! The more effort put into a response the more likely I am to reply!
