[TL;DR 18 Twilight/Yor starter]
Loid Forger made a note of the time, checking his wristwatch as he stood by the living room window. His gaze drifted down to the rain-whipped pavement below and how it reflected the light of the street lamps...Half past eleven in the evening already. He grits his teeth and lets out a long sigh. Yor wasn't home yet. He knew that she was a grown woman and quite capable of taking care of herself. And on top of that, it would not have been the first time she would be asked to stay late to file some papers...Still, usually, she would at least give him a call
...Absorbed in his thought as he was, the sound of their front door opening and closing snapped him out of that. For a moment he could feel his body tensing, like his instincts were about to take over for a moment...Then his mind caught up to the sound and the steps that followed. That was...Yor. She had a way of closing the door and turning the handle, something that he had learned, that light pattern in there was notable and he was just doing it like a good spy would. He swallowed, composed himself and took a step closer towards the entrance.
He made a note to put on a gentle tone as he stepped into the hallway and turned on the lights, calling out to her by her name. "Yor...?"

I thought of something witty or snazzy to wrap things up but I got nothing. I just like these two and how they are living in their faux-marriage with their real identities unknown to each other. Throw some spice in there and let's see how faux that marriage stays.
