What About Worldbuilding? #24 - Science Fiction Attrition
Greetings and happy new year!
I had initially planned a different sort of post for this month but, given the insanity that was this particular afternoon and the likely stress that followed, I’ve elected to modify it into something else.
Here’s what we’re going to do instead:
So this year I thought it might be prudent to discuss worldbuilding as it relates to science fiction and horror stories as opposed to my usual (and frankly biased) fantasy tilt.
I like fantasy, sue me. I do, however, also enjoy Sci-fi, so I’m cool with going forward on that.
Horror too.
However, I’d like to keep this useful when I head that way, so I’d love to hear about some science-fiction and horror tropes you would like to see explored as this series grows to accommodate them.
We’ll pick things up next month with our first Science Fiction edition of this post, then we’ll revisit “Coup de Blah” somewhere far removed from this particular spectacle.
I look forward to hearing from you!
