Well, we made it. This godawful year is drawing closer to a conclusion, and we’re still here.

Hurrah.

I’d normally do a reflection of the year and muse about something optimistic here but forget that.

This was a bad year and I’m glad it’s ending. Let us instead look to 2021 to bring back some of the norms and sanities we abandoned through the slog.

Congratulations to all of those who participated in the first inaugural secret flash fiction contest! I’ve been told the judges were locked away in private chats for literal minutes to try and determine the winners.

There was a great deal of back and forth, and I’m told that they may have a list of winners at some point between now and never. So… to those who participated, expect to receive a private message if you’ve won.
