Create a world, region, settlement, village, or township that is absolutely pornagraphically beautiful in every conceivable way, as in Ursula Le Guin's short story The Ones Who Walk Away from Omelas. Then, just like in Omelas, "drop the bomb" on the reader and reveal one devastatingly horrible aspect of this place that threatens the validity of everything else in it which is good and pure. (Under 550 words)
