Hey guys. So Ive never done something like this before. Ive been getting into alot of different things recently and thought I'd try my hand at doing some writing. Below is the first thing i've written. Maybe its a short story. maybe its the first chapter to a novel. Maybe it belongs in the trash idk haha. If anyone could read it and give some feedback, good or bad, anything at all, that would be cool. This seems like a great community here. just a preface, its just under 5,000 words. I hope this link works.
It is set in a fantasy-ish genre, but this story itself doesn't have too many fantasy components.
