I need help with my title of my story and how to develop it further.

So in short, the main character and his mom move to a new town into a old house, he finds a old book in the attic that has a message of the previous owner warning not read any further but he doesn't heed the warning and continued reading. He later went to sleep and suffered the consequences and here is the part I'm stuck at, he now knows that the book is dangerous but how do I write it so he can't easily get rid of it and needs the information in the book even if the cost too use it is high.
