Training and Travelling
Post Body

Hey, r/WredditSchool!

I've been training for about a year and a half now. Had my debut back in November which went well, and gaining more confidence each month which is great.

I know I want to keep wrestling, but I also love to travelling and have found myself in a position where I can do that at the start of next year. I don't want to sacrifice one passion for the other, so I've been looking at ways to do both.

Has anyone had experience of training and travelling? I have done this a little bit and have some contacts, but only in specific places I might not be visiting again anytime soon. How do you deal with the nerves of dropping in on a new class where you don't know anyone? What's expected of you as a visiting student? How do you deal with being in a class that's either more or less advanced than you? These are all the things I'm thinking about.

Probably what I want to know most is, has anyone taken an extended break from training (3 months), and how did that affect your journey? Was it easy to get back to the level you were at before?

Maybe there are no exact answers and I just have to go and do it - but if anyone has any tips for this, I'd be keen to hear them.
