2022 Wrangler Unlimited Sport S transmission / gearing?

Post Body

We bought a 2022 Wrangler Unlimited Sport S. Always told ourselves, we wouldn’t wait for the upgrades if we bought another Jeep.

Now, I am rethinking the decision to upgrade with 2.5” Rubicon Lift and 35x12.50x17 tires and wheels.

Driving it today on the highway, cruise set at 75MPH, RPMs are at 3500 or a little under. It didn’t feel like the jeep ever got out of 6th gear. Never saw 7th or 8th gear.

We knew we would tank the MPG, but wasn’t told this could be an issue.

We have an appointment on Monday to have the work done by the shop inspected, but thought I would ask here if others experience the same thing.

Would a re-gear help this or not? Something we just have to live with?

TIA
