Wrangler YJ Purchase advice

Potentially looking to buy a 87 Wrangler with 186K for 4500. Mechanic said it needs about $750 in work, but on the lift it shows no rust and looks pretty good. Besides some alignment issues it ran well the mile or so I drove it. Any thoughts?
