I’m a new player driving Tier V heavy tanks (VK 30.01 H and KV-1) and I really struggle being successful or simply useful to my with them.

I’ve read a bit on the role of a heavy tank and it basically says there is no equal to control a choke point and face the ennemi directly as the heavy armor can take a lot of punishment. Well it definitely feels like if I was playing a light tank with a 10 KM/H speed.

Seems like my armor tank nothing, often die very quickly. Meanwhile it seems my own attacks frequently rebounds on the enemy armor. I try to aim for orange or red reticle but even so ....

so yeah I feel useless and terrible with those tanks. any suggestions?
