As the title says, what tech tree line do want WG to visit, and why? I want wargaming to revisit T-72BU line. It's completely outdated. The Era 1 vehicles have nothing special about them. Bad armor, eh guns, decent speeds, and decent camo. The Era 2 vehicles are just not good. The T-62 is one of the worst tanks I've ever seen. Even the WW2 T-62A is better. The T-72A seems good on paper, but in actuality it isn't. It has good speeds and an amazing hull rotation rate, but it's camo and view range are abysmal, the gun handling isn't that good, it's armor is very inconsistent and unreliable, and the gun itself has eh pen, bad reload speeds, and has premium heat. The AV was good, but now that is no longer the case. It shares a lot of the same issues as the A. Similar gun handling, a very similar engine, bad pen, and horrible camo and view range. It gets ATGMs which is neat, but they take a while to reload and aren't worth using most of the time. The armor was good when Cold War first launched, but now everything has extremely high pen AP rounds and ATGMs, and with the amount of silver people earn, people can just fire exclusively premium rounds which doesn't help it. The Era 3 line-up shares the same fate as the AV. Poor traversal speeds, horrible camo and view range, and armor that is irrelevant in today's gameplay. They have good gun handling and premium AP which is good, and the ATGMs actually hurt, but it's not enough to make it worth playing. Tanks have so much pen now in Era 3(looking at you Thumper, M1A2, and Leopard 2A5) that I've seen cross-map snap-shots pen it even in the most armored spots. TL;DR: The entire T-72BU line is outdated and outclassed by newly buffed tanks and absurd premiums.
