I’m an average DD player and the last couple of days have been rough. It’s not uncommon to go on 6 match loss streaks. Obviously having CV’s in ranked doesn’t help but this still happens when I average 1 sink per match.

I’m rotating between the Yugumo, Lightning and Hsienyang.

I always go for the closest cap even though I’ve been on teams that want to leave it. I try to stay close to other DD’s in case I’m surprised by an enemy DD. Try to stay within friendly CA radar range.

I feel like BB’s are basically useless and spend the majority of the game trying to snipe other BB’s, so no support there.

I feel like I’m in this weird spot where I always use the torp reloader on the Yugumo because IJN torp detection is nearly 2km, so if I have a chance to sink a BB I want to do as much dmg as possible but the Yugumo guns are useless against a gunboat.

The Lightning’s torps are slow and the Hsienyang can’t torp enemy DD’s.

Might I benefit from playing more passive as a DD? Any other tips would be greatly appreciated!
