Seriously... I had Bogue, I even got used to it and it worked kind of well for me, but then...

I just unlocked Independence, still stock. First four games, I was in two tier 8 and two tier 7 battles. All total disasters.

WTF? How am I supposed to do anything if every T7 cruiser seems to have a 6-mile no-fly zone around it even without the defensive fire on? How am I supposed to deal any damage whatsoever as not top tier? All my aircrafts melt whenever they come far to enemy ships, let alone close. Stock Independence doesn't even have one full restock for the planes, and the upgraded hull barely makes it one full reserve squad for each type, which basically means I'll be lucky to drop torps more than twice.

Just for more lols, what's the reasoning behind my fighters being spotted by a freaking BB before they spot said BB that starts blowing them out of the sky? It would seem to me that fighters should be nigh-unspottable in such conditions...
