Hello my fellow Seamen,
i just wanted to give a little shoutout to the game. As someone who played around 10K Games in World of Tanks i was never really interested in Wahrships because "Tanks are Cooler" but god damit was i wrong. A Friend of mine with which i play mostly World of Tanks, World of Warcraft or other stuff said to me he started playing Warships a month ago.
I always was one of these guys "that looks boring as hell dude it's so stationary and slow". So after some time i gave it a shot and started my first 2-3 Matches with him and i finally got a hang of it. He told me some tricks and helped me with the keybinds etc how to shoot, which type of ammo should be used on which ship etc. Then we moved into our first "real" matches with players and bots.
Let me tell you we delivered! I Played in 2 Days around 30 Matches and won around 80% of it and its so much fun! I know its just the start of the Game but in World of Tanks it took me atleast a thousand Games until i really started to having fun becaus i had no idea how the Game worked.
I'm still having Problems with Positioning sometimes but its getting better with every battle. Huge props to Wargaming with this Game. Definetely something i recommend!

If you came from WoT, I definitely recommend learning what can or cannot penetrate what. I played WoWs way back when and never really got too into it and quit soon after. I picked up War Thunder and played quite a bit, learning tank armor values and what AP shells could or could not go through, especially at angles. Itβll be similar here, where you will have to learn at higher tiers what can ignore your armor, and what parts of ships you can shoot at to deal damage and what shell type you should use.
