I just earned enough research bureau points for a ship and I was torn on how to invest the currency.

I like to play a mix of every ship type, but cruisers are usually my least favorite.

I plan to play *some* clan battles (usually like random divs better, but like to min-max when I'm in CB's). When I play randoms, I enjoy unique playstyles or ships that reward aggressive plays or positioning. I am not very good at gunboating (tend to prefer torpedo boats or hybrids), but I'm trying to learn how to juke and gunboat more effectively.

I have a Montana and have heard the the Ohio is essentially a Montana with beeg guns and good secondaries.

I remember Paolo Emilio has a gimmick, but I don't know how it has held up over time.

Also, hypothetically, if I don't ever touch clan battles again, what would be the Research Bureau ship you'd choose to have fun in, and why?
