Saw someone inquire about how much he travels just to get to the city in another thread so I figured I’d share.
Josh starts the day with an Uber ride from Grandpas to the Patchogue or Ronkonoma train stations served by the LIRR. He rides the train for about an hour before he arrives at Jamaica station where he transfers to another LIRR train heading to Brooklyn or for the subway. From there he either goes to nostrand Ave, and jumps on the A/C to hit Ahoyt. Or he takes the J from Jamaica to Broadway junction (what’s your function) before transferring to the A to hit up Ahoyt.
After Ahoyt he’s back on the train heading for port McSorleys most of the time.
Total travel time door to door with his stupid route? About 3 hours I’d estimate.
If he went directly into Manhattan and to McSorleys maybe 2 hours door to door.
