I know he reads this sub and I just wanted to say….As another NYCer who struggles heavily with drinking remember you aren’t alone and when the time comes when you want to clean things up there’s tons of people who will step up and help you.

I have my own slew of personal problems but I cannot imagine the pain Josh feels over losing his mother and other things that he has going on in his life. It’s so easy to have a drink or seven here and make the pain go away and kick the feelings down the road to the next day.

Stopping the bad habits overnight will never happen. It’s easy for all the outsiders to say “just stop drinking all together” if it was that easy then there’d be no problems in the world whatsoever.

Hang in there Josh. Have your fun but try and be smart and stay out of harms way. You’re not alone man.
