As someone who has worked out consistently for 15 years i tend to get asked questions about different diets, workouts, etc. I don't mind the questions. I actually welcome them, but im never the guy to just give unsolicited advice.
Trying something new....
Be consistent. The number one thing i tell people is to be consistent and stick with it. Alot of people tend to get discouraged when they don't see immediate results. You didn't get this way overnight, YOU WILL NOT change it overnight.
Research. No doubt you may have all kinds of questions that you would like ask. Ask. Don't be afraid. While yes, I consider my time valuable, I'm never too busy to help someone who genuinely just wants to get improve. I feel that others are the same. Still don't want to ask? YouTube. Thousands of videos. Just watch a few different sources to try and weed out the BS.
Make A minor change. With dieting a common mistake I see is trying to quit everything at once. Quit sodas, No fast food, All sweets. Yeah that's cool and all, but unless you have that kind of Will, that real Mamba Mentality, it generally doesn't work for people. Pick one thing. You drink every night? Cut out one day every 2 weeks or so til you're down to 3X a week. Fast food for lunch everyday? Slowly dial that back the same way. May not sound like alot but I promise it's working.
And now for the more controversial tips......
To cheat or not to "cheat"- I've done alot of different things some might call cheating. PEDs they may call it. I am in no way suggesting, endorsing, promoting, but this goes back to Research. Know what you are about to do, and know what it will do to you. Especially the "bad", because they all have bad things it can do. Weigh the risks carefully, then decide if it's truly needed. It probably isn't. And another thing on that. Make sure can consistently workout and eat better before you think about doing anything .....and those glp 1s apply to all this as well
I'm different. Not everyone is willing to do what I'm willing to, and capable of doing it. My body is different, certain workout "rules" don't necessarily apply to me. I can eat fast food every single day and drink, but as long as I workout REAL hard like normal I'm good. I workout shoulders every single day along with whatever body group I'm doing for the day. No negative, my shoulders just get bigger and stronger. You may be different as well. Start with doing it the "right" way first though. If you can't consistently and regularly do things "right" then you are definitely not ready to venture off
Well, I guess that's enough for now. Any questions?
