As a 38 yr old former college basketball player (a long, LONG time ago), I work out 5 days a week but I absolutely hate doing cardio, I always seem to skip it, I cannot sit on a bike or walk on a treadmill, or even run on concrete streets/sidewalks outside, I hate it, it's so damn boring for me, so at my local gym, an Anytime Fitness which has a separate "aerobics" room that has some faux wood flooring and a wall of mirrors that nobody uses, I started doing defensive slides, jogging backwards and forwards and incorporating some jumping by mimic'ing a jump shot, all while holding a 5 lb weighted ball, and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT, and I'm starting to feel muscles that haven't been worked since my college years, I feel great..
Did I stumble on a possible business venture for myself?? (I've been brainstorming for ideas the last few months).. So, sorta like these "fitness boxing" or kickboxing classes that so many people seem to do these days, but rather a basketball practice style class at a gym, maybe have one hoop available, but the point is to do layup lines, defensive slide drills, weaves, etc. (there's no actual games that we're "practicing" for, it's strictly a cardio session)
Would anyone of you sign up for a gym like this?
