[Vent] I just got fired because I said hello wrong...

Post Body

I really wish I was joking but according to my boss, the other boss didn't like how I said hello. Apparently I should have said "Greetings my Overlord, how can I be of service to you?"

Good luck explaining this shit to unemployment assholes!

Edit to add: It's funny, I was so inappropriate with my hello, but their offer email said they really had a good feeling about me based on our chat. So...which is it? Either I'm a rude asshole or I'm a person you want on your team? Which is also what they wrote.

Edit 2: They already have an ad up and are offering $3 more than they offered me and I have a decade of experience. 😂😂😂 This can't get any better.

Final edit: He has not responded to me at all to clarify what I supposedly actually did. I think it speaks volumes because it is clearly a bullshit reason from what I posted above. Unfortunately, I'm in an At-Will state so it doesn't truly matter his reasoning (except any protected rights). I am in the process of applying for Unemployment, but even if I don't get it, I sure the hell will be blasting them on Glassdoor and name-dropping here. Also, unfortunately, their only website is through Etsy, so I can't google review them.
