I got hired for an office job a few weeks ago and everything seemed great the first night. It was a, you know, family-owned business and all that happy horseshit, but quickly turned sour.
My boss was never the fuck there ever and when she was there she was nasty as fuck whenever I asked if she needed help with anything.
She wanted me to come in early in the morning every day and then just waltzed in whatever the hell she wanted and half the time I didn't have anything to do and then she would give me dirty looks when I was on my phone even though there was nothing for me to do and she wouldn't give me anything to do and when I asked for anything to do, she would be nasty.
She was ill prepared to have a new employee I whenever I tried to assist with anything, she was condescending and rude. And holy FUCK were they toxic. Omfg. Just like shitty people.
Anyway, I walked off and I have four interviews set up for next week and I'm gonna spend my weekend chilling.
PS, dont let your boss talk to you like a child.
Edited to add an example of me trying to do something just so I would look occupied; one time there was nothing to do, so I spent 10 minutes organizing papers in the recycling box just to have something to do. That's how bad it was.
