Hey folks. I worked agricultural management for 6 years after getting a a degree in plant biology from a good university. The most I ever made was $18/hr. No benefits, worked every Saturday, a week of PTO I could never use and no buyback, surprise overtime multiple days a week. I got abused, belittled, and taken advantage of.
Well no more! I went into business for myself and will be growing greens and veggies for local farmer's markets and restaurants. Given how insane food prices have gotten, I can meet or beat grocery store prices for most things.
I own the means of production, I own the revenue, and I am the only worker. If Big Ag and shipping companies want to keep grinding their employees into dust, I'm gonna find a better way. Fuck the soulsucking, fuck the gouging, fuck the bourgeoisie.
