what does Work reform think of "skills Assessments"?

Post Body

I'm in the process of re-entering my field of study (supply chain management). I'm in the interview process for a buyer 1 role (just finished the 3rd stage interview) and it was floated by the interviewer that one of the higher ups at the company is crazy about skills Assessments. Now as someone who has been outside of the industry for awhile (3 years due to family responsibilities ) I'm worried about failing this test. I also worry because of my disability and it's influence over my ability to effectively finish this test. In school and college I was always given extra time to finish tests and assignments due to my disability. For this assessment it completely ignores issues such as these. I'm thinking about outright refusing to take it and saying after my 4th interview that if they can't trust that I'm able to effectively do this job then then don't hire me. I hate having all these hoops needing to be jumped thru and outright lies (such as "I love hard work and working weekends!") needed to be told to be considered for a position. I'm just so so anxious and panicked about this skills assessment if I even have to take it.
