I just commented this in another post on this sub but I’ve been meaning to just make a post for this, so here ya go.
PSA for USA workers: ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) covers many disabilities & could enable you with legal protection to work from home as a reasonable disability accommodation. I don’t know the details as far as if a company has to have a certain number of employees or if you have to be employed a certain period of time. But I can attest to this. I have a legally protected ADA accommodation to work from home due to ADHD. My doctor had to fill out forms & I get it renewed every six months. I also had another co-worker do the same thing for anxiety. If you’re diagnosed with something it could be worth looking into this as well. It’s made a tremendous positive difference in my life.
