I remember talking with my boomer boss and let it slip that I worked about 16 different jobs by the time I was 23 and started working for our medical device manufacturer.
She laid into me about why Iâve been struggling is a lack of commitment and that âItâs not a good look,â and âdidnât fill her with a lot of confidence.â
Well⌠telling people that they have to bounce between 1st and 2nd shift hours, arenât allowed to work more than 20 hours in a week, donât qualify for benefits (IE health insurance) and that youâre only going to pay them $8 an hour isnât a good look either and doesnât fill me with the confidence I need to âtough it outâ with the company
