I work for the Authority in upstate NY at one of the plants(don't want to get doxed but organization deserves to be named). Today it flooded majorly here and the trucks at work was the only thing that could make it through without damage so we had to park our cars 3 miles away in a strip mall parking lot where we had to wait to be driven back to work after parking and ofc they driven us back once work was over which we never know when we will ever get out exactly. It can be anywhere from 3pm-5pm and we never know and they just jerk around and laugh in our faces. Also rats run rampant and who knows what we breathe in on a daily. Also several times we have been worked out in freezing weather 20-30's with only what we bring with us. Back on the the issue today that has pushed me to the edge with this place I didnt get to go get lunch because I went to my plant manager and said I plan to use my car to get lunch with funny enough was parked near burger king but ofc no car since parked a 45min walk away. He said idk what to tell I can't do anything for you. So for my labor intensive job I got to starve during work today. Love it.
