Work unfair treatment approach?
Post Body

Hi there, at work I have run into a problem where I have asked for a transfer to night shift for around 18 months now with no luck. I was doing regular overtime on there almost full time then when the overtime stopped they started to take on “temp” workers. These temp workers were almost guaranteed a contract as the business needed them as long as they performed well etc. Again I wasn’t offered a transfer and I was told numerous times to just “keep asking” I even asked for these in one to one workplace adjustment meetings and still told to “keep asking”. After being patient and waiting a long time I submitted an email to the store manager this week claiming unfair treatment and I wanted this looking into. As a process the company I work for, HAS to look into this and investigate. My store manager has literally replied to a huge email with a picture of night vacancies saying “these are the vacancies” with them drawn on a whiteboard. Do I reject this as a reply and ask for investigation or just accept that they may consider me now for one of these roles? My question now has kind of changed to why did I have to send that email to find that information out?
