I (20F) lost my job today and I'm 90% sure it was because of my disability
Post Body

Last week when mopping at work I needed a break. I have a heart condition so sometimes I get tired and need a few minutes. My manager said it was fine but the proceeded to tell me I should look for another career not as a vet tech because it is too physically demanding for me. She said if I have physical limitations she needs a note so that day my cardiologist wrote me a note saying I didnt have any physical limitations. I was told that there was no way i would lose my job over this. So fast forward to yesterday. I called in sick an hour before my shift started because I ended up in the ER with bronchitis and a UTI so I couldn't make it to work. Mt manager said it was fine. Fast forward to today. I went into work on time took my cat in for vaccines clocked in on time and started working. I got through 3/4 hours of my shift they brought me into the office. And get this the lady who swore I wouldn't get fired fired me!! Owner of the hospital said there isnt just enough work today be done and your health is a concern. I said my health is of no issue I have no limitations. Lady who said I wouldn't get fired told me theres more than enough work to be done but my health is a concern for them.

Is this wrongful termination due to discrimination??? I totally feel like this is. Not to mention they made me stay there crying while trying to find my cat they took away from me. I told them I wanted to leave w/o his vaccines and they insisted I stay and get them. I just wanted to run but instead they made me walk through the animal hospital crying while I tried to find my cat they f*cking stole!!
