So, I'm starting a blog for yarn reviews (yes, I'm a dork. I know) and having the ability to sort post by a few different criteria is pretty much a must.
I need to be able to sort by brand, sort by weight, sort by WPI (which is a more detailed version of weight, but the reason you would search these terms is different), and sort by fiber content.
Preferably, I would like for people to have the ability to check box what it is they're wanting to see (i.e. they only want to see yarn with a WPI of 11 or only want to see cotton yarns) and maybe, but not required be able to check box things from different categories (i.e. wanting to see only Cascade yarns in lace weight)
I haven't yet posted anything to my blog (still waiting on lights to come in the mail so my photos won't suck) so I won't have a backlog of posts to go through before/after I implement this. While it may not be important now, if this goes how I expect it to, this kind of sorting function will be very important for the purpose of my blog (helping people find out exactly how yarns will act in different projects so that they can have the most information possible before they buy, especially when wanting to use a yarn different from the one recommended by the pattern designer).
If it helps at all, this is my website so far.
