How do I keep my Paypal safe while having a freelancer work on my WP site which includes my PP information?

So I have a Wordpress site that is attached to my Paypal account since I am selling digital downloads. I want to hire someone to fix it all up for me, but how do I keep them from getting into my Paypal and sending out money etc since my details are already on the site, and that's part of what I am having trouble with so I want them to have access to it. What's the normal protocol?
