Sup y’all,

I have looked all over the internet for an answer, and just want to make sure I’m not missing anything. I will soon travel around the US and it would be helpful if I could view what state my Wordpress visitors are from for my business. However right now as I get things started I’m broke.

I have read that you can use Google Analytics by adding their code to the Header of the Wordpress site, but my header does not have <head> and </head> tags. Most resources provide the same information, which is either to do that or to use plugins, which I’m not opposed to when I have money again, but they require upgrading my account plan which I can’t do currently. If there’s no way around this, I will just wait til I have money. But if there’s a free way to get analytics on my site, I would greatly appreciate any advice.
