Hello Developer community,

I am fixing my blog page which is pretty plain and unremarkable.

I'm fixing it to actually impress website visitors.

My blog page is not very colorful, it doesn't look fun, it has a lot of work to be done in order to look more professional and compete with the top blogs out there.

Anyways, I use gutenburg to edit the pages and I have a theme in place but I noticed it doesn't have much capabilities.

I downloaded some gutenburg blocks, and blog builder plugins, and the things they have their looks nice but it's expensive, they give you a license for a year and I don't want to renew each year.

I would rather learn and upgrade my skill set to save some money in the long run.

I'm asking for your help to find a better way to optimize my blog page.

I was thinking maybe I have to learn how to create themes from scratch, i'm not sure what are the steps in order to make this idea in my head possible.

And, i'm not closing any doors. If there's a good plugin at a good price or a lifetime package I would actually prefer that.

Can somebody please direct me the right way?
