Hi all - I'm finally taking the leap and looking into scheduling my first therapy session. I'm a 32yo female who would prefer a female therapist if possible. I'd prefer virtual visits but I could make in-person sessions work. Looking for any personal recommendations for providers, as I trust word of mouth from my neighbors far more than the reviews on my health insurance's search portal. (Also, it bears mentioning that I have United Healthcare - if I can stay within network, that would be ideal)
TL;DR: Is there anyone out there on this sub who has had a great experience with a local therapist and doesn't mind namedropping? I'll take PMs too.
Not my father, I'm fucking nuts😂😂😂
