Post Body

This isn't for me, it's for a friend of mine. He's desperately looking for a set of plans, in his words:

Many decades ago, I watched a woodworking TV show where the host built a "Pioneer Table and Benches." It was a box that opened to become the table top. It set over a trestle. Two trestle benches accompanied it. The entire thing broke down and every piece fit inside the box.

He told a story of how the pioneers would carry them on the Conestoga wagons because they could be easily set up and taken down. I managed to locate the plans and had them in my stacks of "stuff."

For 25 years, I've been hoarding some oak boards I milled from trees I cut down when my first child was born. I planned to use them to make four sets of these tables for my children - when I had time.

Well, I have time now, but for the life of me can't find the plans. If there is any chance that someone here has seen them or knows where I could get them again, I'd certainly appreciate a point. I found a picture on Pinterest that's similar if not the identical unit - but no other references.
