Update: Took the advice you guys gave me and the bed is much sturdier now!

Will be adding railings up top, a center spine for the slats, and some more bracing as soon as I get a chance but just wanted to post an update! Thanks for all the advice I received :) As you all suggested, the two biggest changes were the diagonal bracings and securing it to studs. It now takes some serious effort to cause it to shake at all!
